A venue with hooks?

Mathison House is it's own character, why would it not have hooks on it's page?
The hope is these make it easier for new visitors to interact with regular guests and staff.

The Incident

You may have heard that Mathison is dangerous. That there was an incident.

Roomers circulate around Empyreum about the cafe in Mathison House.
They say fireplace there /ate/ someone.

Strange Aether

The aether in Mathison House is sort of off. It's got the faintest feeling of darkness.
But it's not so dark as to seem /dangerous/ at all. Just... Odd...

If your character's sensitive too it, maybe they could ask about it?

Urban Legends

Mathison House isn't the only oddity around. Everywhere has dozens of stories like this.
The Willow is a great place to talk about these things and play with Hydaelyn's lore.

Maybe someone will even look into it and get back to you next week? *wink*

Cracks in the Walls

There's... Noise in the walls of Mathison House. It sounds mechanical, almost.
But it's feint. Every so often it stops for a tick and the lights flicker.

Maybe your character can't even hear it? Or is it too loud to them?

Her name is Six.

Yes, you can ask to pet Six. You can also pet her without asking.
She's very soft and very friendly, and is a big cat. About the size of a Lalafell.

If you sit at the bar and ask, this is a great way to get pulled into conversation.
